Uncasville, CT - Today, the Connecticut Sun announced its renewed partnership with MoheganSunCasino.com as its Official iGaming Partner.
"We're heading into an exciting season for Connecticut Sun and having MoheganSunCasino.com signed on as an official iGaming partner is something that we're really looking forward to," said Rich Roberts, President of Mohegan Digital. "From Stars Wars T-shirt giveaways to a shot at $100,000, the game day promotions that MoheganSunCasino.com has planned are certainly dialed up this year. We're especially proud to sponsor the Free Throws for Change in-game program that will both benefit and help increase awareness to the Black Girls Achieve organization."
MoheganSunCasino.com will be the presenting sponsor of the Connecticut Sun's new in-game program "Free Throws for Change," where for every free throw made during the 2023 season, MoheganSunCasino.com will donate $10 to "Black Girls Achieve," a for profit empowerment program created to provide Black girls the space to be themselves while learning how to navigate the nuance of Black girlhood.

In addition to sponsoring "Free Throws for Change," MoheganSunCasino.com will be participating in a slew of game day activities and activations throughout the 2023 season. MoheganSunCasino.com will be the presenting sponsor of the Connecticut Sun fan-favorite "Mohegan Blaze Canoe Race," where fans will have chances to win cash prizes up to $1,000. During Star Wars day on Sunday, July 30 when the Connecticut Sun take on the Minnesota Lynx at 1:00 PM EST, MoheganSunCasino.com will be sponsoring Star Wars t-shirts that the first 2,500 fans will receive when they walk into Mohegan Sun Arena. Twice during the 2023 season, MoheganSunCasino.com will also give two lucky fans the opportunity to take a half-court shot for the chance to win $100,000.
