Congressman Jim Himes to Throw Out First Pitch Tonight!

(Bridgeport, CT - July 1, 2009) - The Bridgeport Bluefish have announced that Congressman Jim Himes will throw out the first pitch at tonight's contest between the Bluefish and Camden Riversharks. The game begins at 7:05 p.m., with The Ballpark at Harbor Yard gates opening at 6:05 p.m.

Jim Himes represents Connecticut's 4th District in the United States House of Representatives. He is currently serving his first term in Congress and is a member of the House Committees on Financial Services and Homeland Security.

All fans in attendance at tonight's game will have the opportunity to see Congressman Hines and also experience "Winning Inning Wednesday." Following the game, everyone will also be treated to a Fireworks Extravaganza, courtesy of Dietz & Watson.
