Conference Championship Game to Air on National Television

JACKSONVILLE - Following a last-second, 58-56 win over the Georgia Force on Saturday night, the ArenaBowl XXIV Champion Jacksonville Sharks will continue their playoff run against the Philadelphia Soul in the American Conference Championship Game on Friday, August 3 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The Arena Football League announced late Saturday that the game will kick off at 8:00 p.m. and air live in front of a national audience on NFL Network.

The AFL's American Conference Championship game featuring the #2 seeded Jacksonville Sharks (11-8) at the #1 seeded Philadelphia Soul (16-4) will be broadcasted nationally on "NET10 Arena Football Friday" on NFL Network this Friday, August 3rd, the Arena Football League announced Saturday evening. Kickoff is set for 8 pm ET.

Philadelphia convincingly dropped the New Orleans VooDoo, 66-53, to advance while the Sharks narrowly escaped the Georgia Force, 58-56, Saturday evening. Sharks kicker Marco Capozzoli converted on a 51-yard field goal as the clock expired to bring Jacksonville to the next round.

David Baumann will join Anthony Herron in the NFL Network broadcast booth. Sherdrick Bonner will serve as the sideline analyst for the game.
