TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors conclude their season series with the Alaska Aces. Tonight is the eighth game in the set, with the Condors getting the better of the Aces the last time, a 3-2 shootout win in Anchorage on March 9. In the first seven games of the series, one of the teams has been shutout on four occasions. Bakersfield won the only other game contested at Rabobank Arena, 3-0, on March 7.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Bakersfield went 2-2-0 on a tough four-game week, including a three-in-three in three different cities on the weekend. After knocking off the division-leading Ontario Reign at home, 4-3 in overtime, on Saturday, the shorthanded Condors ran out of steam on Sunday afternoon, falling 4-1 in Las Vegas. LW Nick MacNeil scored the lone goal for the Condors, his second professional tally.
Alaska continued their lengthy road trip in Stockton over the weekend and picked up three of a possible four points. After falling behind 4-1 with under 10 minutes remaining on Saturday, the Aces rallied for three late goals, eventually falling in overtime. Sunday was a different story though as Alaska raced out to a 6-0 lead and cruised to a 7-2 win over the Thunder.
CONDORS NOTES
