Condors Offer Ridiculously Awesome Deals for Groups This Season

August 12, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL) - Bakersfield Condors News Release

BAKERSFIELD Calif. -The Bakersfield Condors, host of the 2010-11 ECHL All-Star Classic, are excited to introduce new details and benefits for group outings in the 2010-11 season.

A group of 20 or more friends, family, co-workers, members of your congregation, classmates, teammates, scout troop, neighbors or whomever you gather together can receive special group rates, reserved seating, group name announcements in the arena and shown on the videoboard, and a bevy of benefits befitting the Condorstown faithful.

New for this coming season is the Condors Group Cap special. Anyone and everyone who purchases a group ticket in the lower bowl will receive an exclusive Condors Cap, available only to fans coming out as part of a group. To repeat, if you buy a group ticket in the lower bowl, you will receive a stylish Condors Cap for FREE. Lower bowl group tickets are only $13, and yes, you get a cap with that. You might call us insane, but we'd prefer you just call us to take advantage of this unbelievable deal!

Last season's Red Riot during the playoffs was a huge hit, and the Red Riot will rock the house with their very own group section for weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) games during the 2010-11 season. Section 101, which is in the lower bowl at the south end of the arena, will have a special rate of $17 per person and it comes with a Condors cap, a 12"x18" Fan Flag and a Red Riot t-shirt. The Red Riot group package has a retail value of $60, all for just $17. Once again, to offer a deal like this, we should be examined to see if we have a brain, but we'd like to think of it as extreme generosity!

A brand new Group Jersey Raffle has also been planned for the 2010-11 season. Being held during each weekend game, any member of any group outing will have the opportunity to win a Condors jersey, simply by filling out a group entry card the night of the group. Simply submitting an entry form alone will provide fans with a pair of Cheer Stix.

Prices for group outing tickets are $18 for Rinkside tickets (regular weekend walk-up price $21), $13 for Executive level (regularly $17) and $7 for Terrace tickets (regularly $11). Those prices are also valid for the upcoming 2010-11 ECHL All-Star Classic, coming on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011 to Rabobank Arena. This annual event is the first professional hockey All-Star Game to ever come to Condorstown and is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the league's premier players take the ice in Bakersfield.

What Brad says:

"For this season we feel like we've done a lot to add value to our group outings on top of all the normal benefits," said Director of Group Sales Brad Urbani. "Something we're really excited for is the Red Riot Section. Who would NOT want to sit there for a big game? The free caps and the jersey raffle are big as well; we have a lot of new things going on this season, so give us a ring and book your group today."

To help prepare for the upcoming season and make sure your group gets the best selection of game dates and seating sections, a Group Selection Night is in the works. Stay tuned for more details. At the event, businesses and fans will have the opportunity to come to the arena, check out the seat locations, see the view from our Budweiser 5-Hole Lounge and the Condors Corner Suite, and lock in their dates. Free food will be available as well. Contact the Condors office at 324-PUCK (7825) to speak with a Condors ticket representative for more information.
