Randy Petruk Named Reebok Hockey ECHL Saver of the Week! Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors capped off a 3-0-0 start with goaltender Randy Petruk being honored by the ECHL on Tuesday. Petruk has been named Reebok Hockey ECHL Saver of the Week for October 22nd - October 24th. Starting all three games this weekend for the Condors Petruk made 22 saves in a 7-2 season-opener win against Victoria on Friday, had 17 saves in a 2-1 win against Victoria the following night, and closed out the weekend with 14 saves in a 5-4 win in Long Beach on Sunday.

Along side of Petruk's award, Condors defenseman Chris Twerdun was runner up to Pee Dee Prides Kyle Kidney as In Glas Co ECHL Player of the week. Twerdun finished the weekend with 3 gp, 4g, 0a, 4 pts, +2.
