Indy Eleven News Release

INDIANAPOLIS - As Indy Eleven prepares to close out its successful 2019 regular season campaign, "Indiana's Team" is already looking ahead to the future with Community Health Network, which has renewed its partnership as the club's "Official Sports Medicine Provider."

As part of the expanded partnership, Community Health Network will serve as Indy Eleven's exclusive back-of-jersey sponsor, beginning with tonight's Fan Appreciation Night match at Lucas Oil Stadium against Swope Park Rangers, presented by Community Health Network Foundation (7:00 p.m. kickoff, live on MyINDY-TV 23).

Starting at tonight's game and running through the final match of Indy Eleven's upcoming run in the USL Championship Playoffs, fans will be able to bid on the first game-worn jerseys featuring the Community Health Network jersey-back logo during an online auction benefitting Community Health Network Foundation. Fans can visit indyeleven.com and the team's Twitter (@IndyEleven) and Facebook (/IndyEleven) pages to find the link to the online auction.

"Community Health Network has been an integral part of the Indy Eleven family since our Inaugural 2014 Season," said Greg Stremlaw, President & CEO, Indy Eleven. "We are thrilled to not only continue this valued relationship, but to also increase the exposure of Community Health Network and the Community Health Network Foundation as we prepare to move into Eleven Park in the coming years."

"We are delighted to continue as the sports medicine provider of the Indy Eleven professional soccer team," said Jon Fohrer, vice president of orthopedics at Community Health Network. "Indy Eleven has been a great asset to our city, and we are glad to be a part of their continued success."

The continuation of the partnership will see members of the Community Health Network family maintain the health and fitness of the "Boys in Blue" around the calendar. Community Sports Medicine will provide extensive medical services to Indy Eleven, including physician and athletic trainer support. The athletic trainer provides support at all practices and games and works collaboratively with the team physician to provide injury care, sports nutrition consultation, sports performance services and access to Community's network of health and wellness facilities.

As part of the partnership, Indy Eleven head athletic trainer Meeja Kinsey, MS, LAT, ATC, will return to her day-to-day role with the team for a second season. Kinsey, who has previous experience with the NWSL's Washington Spirit, MLS' D.C. United, the NBA's Dallas Mavericks and the University of Delaware, instructs team members through fitness and conditioning programs and provides individual treatment plans for injuries and rehabilitation programs.

Indy Eleven is also proud to welcome back William Mosi Jones, MD, who assumed the role of team physician prior to the 2018 season and will continue to lead the Community Health Network team that provides injury checks, treatment and prevention care and sideline medical care coverage.

Athletes of every age and level can benefit from Community's comprehensive sports medicine services to keep them performing at their best. Comprehensive services include access to primary care sports medicine physicians and orthopedic surgeons, sports and orthopedic walk-in injury clinic, sports injury prevention services, concussion management, sports physicals, education and screenings. Community Sports Medicine also provides sports medicine services for the Indy Fuel professional hockey team, Ed Carpenter Racing Team and support for athletic teams at the University of Indianapolis and more than 25 high schools across Central Indiana.
