Command WR Earns JLS Ironman of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Arena Football League has announced that Kansas City Command wide receiver, Jackie Chambers has been named the JLS Ironman of the Week for his performance in Week 13 of the AFL season.

In Week 13, Chambers (5-10, 190, Lane College) caught four passes for 69 yards (one TD), and ran back six kick returns for 80 yards; contributed 1.5 tackles and earned 149 all-purpose yards against the Utah Blaze. He leads the Command with 621 all-purpose yards despite playing in just five games this season and has scored in three of the last four games.

The Command (2-9) play the Spokane Shock (6-5) Saturday night at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena at 9:00 p.m. C.T. The game will air live on SportsRadio 810 WHB, KSMO TV-62 and Ustream.tv/kansascitycommand.
