
Comets Release 2004 Preseason Schedule

HOUSTON - The Houston Comets will open the team's four-game preseason schedule on the road against the Indiana Fever on Tuesday, May 4, which was announced today by the WNBA as part of the 2004 league preseason schedule. The Comets first preseason game at Toyota Center is slated for 7:30 p.m. (CDT) on Friday, May 7 versus the San Antonio Silver Stars.
Following the contest with the Silver Stars, the Comets will remain at home to host the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday, May 11. Houston closes out the preseason at San Antonio with the back end of a home-and-away series with the Silver Stars on Friday, May 14.
Tickets to the Comets two home preseason games are scheduled to go on sale Saturday, April 17. Individual game tickets for the regular season will go on sale at a later date. For season and group ticket information, call (713) 627-WNBA or go on-line at www.houstoncomets.com.
The Comets tip off the 2004 regular season on Thursday, May 20 with a 7:30 p.m. contest versus the Silver Stars at Toyota Center.
