
Columbus Clippers Announce 2011 Schedule

Columbus Clippers News Release
The Columbus Clippers, reigning International League Governors' Cup Champions and also Triple-A National Champions will play an exhibition game on Wednesday March 30 against their parent team, the Cleveland Indians at 1:05 pm. It will be the first time the two teams have played in Columbus as we start the third year of our affiliation with the Tribe, an affiliation which was recently extended through the 2014 season. Box Seats will be included in full season and 35 game season ticket packages and will not be available for early sale. All reserved seats will be $20, general admission will be $10 and all will go on sale November 12, 2010.
The Clippers third season at Huntington Park will feature 72 home games.
The home opener will be Saturday April 16 at 4:05 pm with a downtown parade at 2:00 pm to welcome home the reigning Triple-A National Champions & I.L. Governors' Cup Champions.
The 2011 schedule will feature eight (8) weekday games (an increase of two games over each of the previous seasons); five "dime-a-dog" Mondays & five Fireworks Saturdays.
The Big Ten Baseball Tournament returns to Huntington Park May 25-28 and the Ohio State High School Baseball Playoffs (OHSAA) return June 2-3-4.
The third "Dinner on the Diamond" at Huntington Park is Saturday August 13 featuring Gary Puckett & The Union Gap.
The 25th annual Clippers fantasy camp will be August 5-6-7.
