Colts blanked by Aviators, 6-0

San Angelo, TX--The Colts are facing a team in the Coastal Bend Aviators who are ranked 2nd in the league in team pitching. That was apparent last night as the Colts were blanked 6-0. Game 2 however, was a different story. Coastal Bend would be the team out early, as they scored a run in the 1st and 3rd innings to take a 2-0 lead. San Angelo would answer with a Ricky Magdelano homer to cut the lead in half, then Sean Bischofberger's 2 run homer in the 4th to made it 3-2. The Aviators would respond with a huge 4 run 6th inning, chasing Colt's starter Jason Sena, in that frame the Aviators had 3 straight doubles by Matt Mann, Eric Battersby, and Trey Salinas. Carlos Adolfo would double home 2 for the big blow in that inning. The Colts would answer in the bottom half, a Kasey Wilson 2 run homer swinging the momentum. An unearned run would tie it in the 7th 6-6. The Aviators got a run in the 8th, off an RBI triple from Bryan Loeb, but San Angelo's Kasey Wilson hit his 2nd 2-run homer in the bottom half to give San Angelo the 8-7 lead. In the 9th, the Aviators would score a run off Alexis Guzman from a Mann RBI double to send the game to extra innings. In the 10th, with 1 out, Wilson singled, followed by a Gilbert single to put them at 1st and 2nd with 1 out. Tony James delivered the cluth RBI single scoring Wilson to give the Colts a 10 inning 9-8 win. In the game, Guzman to the win to go to 2-0 while Seibert took the loss to fall to 1-1. In the game, Kasey Wilson would go 4-5 with (2) 2-run homers, scoring 3 times, including the game winner.
