San Angelo, Texas----The Colts, who just announced on-line tickets sales beginning this Monday April 19, have also released their promotional calendar. The calendar includes not only daily specials but promotional events and giveaway nights as well.
The Colts, famous for their amount of giveaway nights, have another great collection put together this season. Some highlights, no pun intended, include two fireworks nights at the beginning and end of the season. Other special event nights feature a special Father's Day Extravaganza for the men, a diamond dig for the ladies and free Admission Family Nights for all.
For the kids there are three youth clinics, youth baseball gloves, and thunder sticks giveaway nights. Also included are two nights to bring your pet to the park on both Dog Days of Summer and Weinermania. There will also be a pair of Jersey Auction Nights where the proceeds are kept in San Angelo and donated to local charities. A promotional highlight includes a rare bobblehead giveaway that features Hall of Famer Willie Stargell in San Angelo's original uniform. Stargell began his career here in San Angelo at age 19. Other giveaways include koozies, mini-bats, t-shirts, magnet schedules, six pack cooler, wristbands, baseball cards, backpacks, cap night, travel bags, logo balls, toothbrushes, and travel mugs.
The Colts Monday through Sunday nightly promotions make for a great lineup. SportsClips offers hair cuts on Monday's, which is also a charitable event, to kick off the week. Budweiser follows with the always popular $2 Tuesdays in which popcorn, hotdogs, sodas, beer and general admission tickets are all just $2. One of the Colts most unique promotions is "Sherwin Williams Sure Win Wednesday's" where the Colts win or you get a free ticket to the following Wednesday's game. Thursday is Miller Lite $1 Beer night, and a win on Saturday's gets every fan in the ballpark a free coupon for a Whataburger.
