Broncos Re-Sign Three Players From 2009

Laredo, TX- The Laredo Broncos of the United League have re-signed 3 members from their 2009 ballclub. The 3 players are RHP Gregorio Martinez, INF Ryan Flynn and C Luany Sanchez.
Martinez has been one of the best starters in the United League for the last two seasons. He had 3.86 ERA and led the team in Innings pitched, strikeouts and starts in 2009. He will be counted on to lead the pitching staff in 2010.
Former TAMIU standout Ryan Flynn returns to the team after having a standout season defensively last year. He is expected to compete for a utility spot in 2010.
C Luany Sanchez returns for his 3rd season with the Broncos. The 2008 ULB All Star MVP hit 20 Hr's and 78 RBI's in 2008 while hitting .264 last season.
Field Manager Dan Firova likes the look of his new team for 2010, "Obviously we are going to make a lot of changes to our roster this season. AT the moment, these are the only players from 09 that we have plans for this coming season. We are changing the culture of the clubhouse and we are going to have a team that Laredo can be proud of and support. I am really looking forward to 2010 and winning some games."
The Laredo Broncos begin their 5th season on May 27th against the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings at Veterans Field. The Broncos will play a 93 game season from May 27th to August 30th with 43 home games at Veterans Field.
