
Colts Add Two Texans

San Angelo Colts News Release
San Angelo, Texas--- The San Angelo Colts continued to add to their pitching staff by staying in their own backyard. The Colts announced the signings of two right-handed pitchers in Philip Urso and Wesley Clingman today, both Texas natives.
Urso, a Dallas native, comes to the Colts from the University of Southern California where he pitched two seasons with the Trojans. The 6'6" 255 pound righty compiled a 2.70 ERA in his senior season in the Trojan bullpen. Urso transferred from Claremont-McKenna College in California where he threw a complete-game and struck out 15 batters in his final game with the Stags in 2007.
Clingman, a 6'3" 210 lb. righty from Grapevine, joins the team from Ouachita Baptist College where he was a two-year member of the Tigers ballclub as a reliever. Before then, he attended Texas College in Tyler.
