
Colorado Rapids Midfielder Danny Levya Named to 2023 U.S. Pan American Team

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - Colorado Rapids midfielder Danny Leyva has been named to the 2023 U.S. Pan American Team that will compete at the Pan American Games Santiago 2023 from Oct. 20 to Nov. 5 in Santiago, Chile, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee announced today.
Levya, 20, joined the Rapids on loan from Seattle Sounders FC in April and has made 19 appearances for the club across all competitions since, logging 865 minutes and recording an assist. A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Leyva has previously represented the United States at the youth national team level, starting all three matches for the U-17 U.S. Men's Youth National Team at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil, as well as starting six of their seven matches at the 2019 Concacaf U-17 Championship in which the U.S. finished as runners-up.
