Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice Professional Indoor Football team, of the Indoor Football League (IFL), invites resume submittals for the position of Assistant Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach. The position will be working with the Head Coach on the development and execution of game plans.
For the 2014 Season, the incumbent would need to be available from approximately February 1st, 2014 thru July 31st, 2014; travel for game schedule and have prior coaching experience with Offensive knowledge of indoor football. Preferably, having played and/or coached in the IFL, NFL, CFL or AFL. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Head Coach, the incumbent will serve as Quarterbacks Coach and Assistant Offensive Coordinator. Incumbent will assist with recruiting, player development, planning practice and game scripts, performing necessary public relations work, and additional duties as Head Coach assigns. Be available for practices/film and meetings from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM as schedule dictates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential- Maintains knowledge and rules of the Indoor Football League as it relates to this position and the Offense. Coordinates offensive practice schedule and drills. Provides game and practice film analysis with offense and position unit. Provides suggestions for offensive calls to Offensive Coordinator and Head Coach. Develops substitution plan with Offensive Coordinator. Coordinates Offensive play adjustments on sideline & halftime. Grades position players, stats, and quarters played. Scouting report: Defensive fronts and stunts, short yardage.
