NEW YORK - For the second straight season, Colorado Crush OS DAMIAN HARRELL (6-3, 200, Florida State) was selected as the AFL's Offensive Player of the Year as voted by the League's head coaches, players, fans and Arena Football League Writers Association (AFLWA).

During the 2006 regular season, Harrell set new AFL records for scoring (366 points), receiving touchdowns (60), and total touchdowns (61). He also tied a League mark, held by Albany's EDDIE BROWN, by catching at least one touchdown in 65 consecutive regular-season games. He can break the record in Week 1 of the 2007 season.

Harrell, who passed the 10,000-yard plateau for his career (10,327) this season, had 152 receptions and 1,920 receiving yards, which rank second and third, respectively, among single-season totals in AFL history.

Other players receiving votes this year included: Dallas' CLINT DOLEZEL, Georgia's CHRIS JACKSON, San Jose's MARK GRIEB and Utah's SIAHA BURLEY.
