Colonials Sign Four Players

Hartford Colonials News Release


The Hartford Colonials have signed the following players and added them to the roster:

FB Jason Davis (5-10, 242): Among the final cuts in Jets training camp. He played in his first NFL game with Raiders on Nov. 2, 2008. After being released by Oakland, Davis signed with the Bears and played five games, including three starts. He signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois in 2006.

LB Harry Coleman (6-2, 206): Recently released from the Saints practice squad. The former standout at LSU was a two-year starter with the Tigers and played on the 2007 national championship team. He switched from strong safety to linebacker for his senior year in college and was named Tigers MVP in 2009, when he registered a career-high 82 tackles, four sacks and three forced fumbles in 13 games.

G Ryan Cave (6-4, 340): Rejoins the Colonials after participating with the team during training camp. He played at Hampton University.

DT Marlon Favorite (6-1, 317): Former LSU player was released by the Colts last month. He was a member of the Saints practice squad last season, and also had brief stints with the Panthers, Rams, Chiefs, Seahawks and Bills.
