Colonels return to the court Friday
January 5, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Kentucky Retros News Release
The Kentucky Colonels will be back in action this Friday night as they take on the Colorado Storm. Game time is 7:05 in the Louisville Gardens. The Colonels are looking to get to an even record for the first time since being 1-1.
The addition of two new players, 6-8 Forward Jamario Moon and 6-8 Forward John Oden, has given the Colonels a much more potent offense. Opposing teams can no longer concentrate solely on leading scorer Antwain Barbour. Last week against the Cincinnati Blaze all three scored at least 20 points and the Colonels had six players in double figures in beating Cincinnati 118-104. Anthony Epps had 12 assists to go along with 11 points.
FYI â GAME TIME CHANGE â The Colonels home game on Sunday, January 16 with Cincinnati has been changed to 7:05.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
