Tuesday, June 19th: The Kern County Museum is beginning their series of exciting summer activities this Tuesday. "Summer Fun Day: Science Magic" will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and provides kids out of school with educational and exciting activities like the Condors inflatable Slapshot, bounce houses and special science activities that will be out of this world! Come visit Colonel Claw'd and the Condors at the museum for only $2, which includes all activities and six ride tickets. Kids under three get in free and lunch will also be available for purchase. The Kern County Museum is located at 3801 Chester Ave.

Thursday, June 21st: Condors mascot Baby Cal and front office staff members will take part in the Downtown Business Association's Street Faire, providing their inflatable Slapshot and information on their upcoming 10th Anniversary Season. This family event features various vendors and activities and runs from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Log onto www.bakersfielddba.net for more information.

Week In Review:

Saturday, June 9th: The Condors were awarded the Beautiful Bakersfield Group Humanitarian Award, for the second consecutive year, for their charitable efforts in 2006. More than $470,000 was donated in goods, services and monetary donations to local non-profit organizations and schools. The Condors would like to say thank you to all the fans and sponsors in Condorstown for their endless dedication and support.

Mark Your Calendars:

Monday, June 25th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will visit kids at Centennial Elementary for North of the River's Summer Camp.

Friday, June 29th: The Condors will travel to Tehachapi with Goodwill Industries for the first Condors Care-A-Van of the summer. This stop will be one of several made to various cities in Kern County this summer to assist Goodwill in collecting donations and to spread the word about the upcoming 10th Anniversary Season. Condors players, mascots and front office staff members will visit Kelly's Café and the Tehachapi Parks and Recreation "Adventure Camp" for kids. Check back next week for time and location details.
