College Park Falls to Maine Celtics 127-112 in First of Two-Game Set

College Park, Georgia. - The College Park Skyhawks (15-17) fell in the first of two games in a row against the Maine Celtics (20-12), 127-112.

Rob Baker collected his fifth double-double of the season behind 19 points and 12 rebounds, adding three assists, one block and one steal in 35 minutes.

Miles Norris led the Skyhawks in scoring with 21 points, 16 of which came in the first half, marking the fourth 20+ point game of his career. Norris would add seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 32 minutes in his 40th start of the season.

Tyson Etienne (17 points), Seth Lundy (17 points), Jarkel Joiner (15 points), and Brandon Randolph (12 points) joined Baker and Norris in double-digits.

After a tightly contested 29-28 first quarter led by Maine, the Celtics would go on a 22-5 run from 8:16 to the 3:58 mark in the second quarter, eventually outscoring College Park 44-27 to take a 73-55 lead into halftime.

Maine would carry the momentum into the second half holding a double-digit lead for the remainder of the game, aided by 13 second half points from Jaden Springer and 11 from Joe Wieskamp.

The Celtics were led by two 20-point scorers in Springer, who netted a game-high 26 points off the bench, and Wieskamp, who poured in 20 points behind five triples.

College Park is now eliminated from postseason play following tonight's loss. The Skyhawks will take on Maine again on Thursday at 7 p.m., followed by 'Fan Appreciation Night' presented by Aaron's against the Long Island Nets on March 30 at 6:30 p.m. to round out the season.
