
College Park Acquires Returnign Player Rights to Brandon Williams and 2022 First Round Pick from Westchester

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - The College Park Skyhawks announced that the team has acquired the returning player rights to guard Brandon Williams, as well as a 2023 first round pick in the NBA G League Draft, from the Westchester Knicks in exchange for the returning player rights to DaQuan Jeffries.
Williams, a second-year guard, played 24 games (16 starts) for the Blazers during the 2021-22 season, averaging 12.9 points, 3.9 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 26.7 minutes per game.
A native of Los Angeles, Williams started the 2021-22 campaign with the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League, where he appeared in 13 games (11 starts), averaging 22.6 points, 6.4 assists and 4.1 rebounds in 33.1 minutes per game. He earned a 10-day contract with the Trail Blazers on December 26, 2021.
The 22-year-old played one season at the University of Arizona (2018-19), appearing in 26 games (21 starts), recording 11.4 points, 3.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 28.2 minutes per game. He missed his entire sophomore season following off-season knee surgery before leaving the program and eventually going undrafted in 2021.
Jeffries appeared in 16 games (10 starts) for the Skyhawks last season, tallying 14.3 points and 3.9 rebounds in 25.8 minutes per game.
