Orange County Flyers News Release
In his first game against his old team the St. George Roadrunners, Johnny Coit hit for a natural cycle and drove in seven runs in a 14-3 win for the Orange County Flyers in front of a capacity crowd.
Johnny Coit capped his cycle by slamming a three-run homerun to right field. Ben Fox handled the pitching duties winning in his third straight start and holding the Roadrunners to just one hit in seven innings.
The Flyers exploded for two runs in the 1st inning and five more in the 2nd. SP Mike Storey struggled with his control from the outset, including hitting three batters.
Scott Goodman scored four times for the Flyers hitting out of the cleanup position.
The Flyers moved to 1-4 in the second half, while St. George is 0-3.
