
Coach Mahood, Four Players Named to Top Prospects Tournament

(AMARILLO, Texas) Four players of the Amarillo Wranglers were named rosters for the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. Head Coach Harry Mahood will be behind the bench as the team's Assistant Coach.
Michael Spinner, Dominic Schimizzi, and Logan Cleary will represent the Wranglers for South Division team for the Top Prospects Tournament. Max Gutjahr will be on the Central division roster for the tournament. Each team has 22 players (13 forwards, seven defensemen, two goalies) and two games during the tournament.
By The Numbers:
Michael Spinner: Named first captain in franchise history, Spinner has played in 35 games this season. The defenseman has nine points (1G,8A) this season.
Dominic Schimizzi: Schimizzi is third in scoring for the Wranglers this season. The speedy forward has 20 points (9G,11A) while appearing in 34 games this season.
Logan Cleary: Cleary has become a stabilizing presence for the Wranglers. The fourth leading scorer for Amarillo has 18 points (8G,10A).
Max Gutjahr: Has been one of the top goalies in their entire NAHL this season. His 17 wins is third most in the league, and the 2.43 GAA is eighth in the NAHL.
Head Coach Harry Mahood has been named the assistant coach for the South division during the Top Prospects Tournament. New Mexico Ice Wolves coach Phil Fox will be the head coach for the South division. The Top Prospects Tournament is one of the most scouted hockey events all year long. The tournament presents an opportunity for uncommitted players to showcase their skills in front of NHL and NCAA scouts for the two-day event.
