RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Kickers support the decision of USL League One in suspending preseason activities and delay the start of the 2020 League One season by a minimum of two-weeks due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

"As a club, first and foremost, the safety of our fans, players, coaches and staff are of the utmost importance," said Rob Ukrop, Richmond Kickers Chairman. "We will remain in constant contact with the USL and local health officials to ensure proper measures are taken."

The City of Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney announced on Thursday that he is "recommending that organizers of large events postpone or cancel those events within the city limits."

Any scheduled pro club events taking place prior to the start of the season will be postponed to later dates.

We will pass along information in regards to rescheduled matches, ticket sales and other match related information as that becomes available.
