Official Club Statement on 2020 USL League One Season
Published on March 12, 2020 under United Soccer League One (USL1)
FC Tucson News Release
The United Soccer League announced today the decision to suspend preseason activities and delay the start of the 2020 League One season by a minimum of two weeks from the season start date of March 28th.
At this time, the USL League One will not begin play earlier than April 18th.
We support the league's decision to temporarily suspend games in an effort to help fight against the spread of COVID-19.
We will continue to work with the league and local health officials to monitor the situation and will pass along information as it becomes available.
"Our team and staff remain committed to keeping Tucson strong during this time," said FC Tucson Club President Amanda Powers. "We highly anticipate our return to the pitch to inspire hope with exciting, entertaining futbol for our beloved fans."
