Denver Outlaws News Release

DENVER - The Denver Outlaws will open the home portion of their schedule Sunday at 3 p.m. MDT at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

This season, the stadium's clear-bag policy will be in place for each Outlaws home game. See the end of this release for more information on what items are allowed into the stadium. Click here to watch a video on the bag policy. Click here for a Q&A about the policy.

The Outlaws invite fans to help celebrate 'May The Fourth Be With You Day' with a Star Wars theme for the home opener. In addition to movie-themed jerseys, Star Wars characters will make appearances around the stadium along with in-game promotions featuring movie and music clips from the movies. The Outlaws are partnering with the local 501st Legion and Rebel Legion to provide the costumed Star Wars characters.

Denver will be representing the Rebel Alliance with orange X-Wing Pilot jerseys and Ohio will represent the Imperial Storm Troopers with their white jerseys. All of the jerseys will be signed and auctioned off after the game with all proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. The Outlaws collaborated with Lucas Films and Warrior on the design of the jerseys. See below for photo renderings of the jerseys.

Tickets for this historic game start at just $12 and can be purchased online or at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High box office. The Outlaws are also offering a special family four-pack ticket package that includes four tickets, four hot dogs and four beers or soft drinks for $49 plus additional Ticketmaster fees. Those tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com .
