HUNTSVILLE, AL - This week's Sher-Wood Hockey "Player of the Week" goes to Fayetteville Fire Antz defenseman, Mike Clarke.
Clarke scored two goals and had four assists to go along with a +4 rating for the week. So far this season Clarke has scored 2 goals and has 13 assists giving him a total of 15 points for the season. He leads the SPHL in scoring for defensemen. He is originally from Scarborough, Ontario.
Knoxville Ice Bears' Jason Bermingham was also nominated. He scored 4 goals and had 1 assist in 3 games for the week. He has a total of 14 points this season.
