Cincinnati's Case Named Reebok, ECHL Athletic Trainer of the Year

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that Bob Case of the Cincinnati Cyclones is the 2012-13 recipient of the ECHL Athletic Trainer of the Year Award, presented by Reebok .

The winner is determined in a vote of the league's athletic trainers and equipment managers. Reebok recognizes the efforts and accomplishments of ECHL athletic trainers and will award Case a pair of custom Reebok ZigTech shoes in honor of his achievement.

Case is in his 25th year as an athletic trainer, and his eighth season with the Cyclones. In addition to his two championships in Cincinnati, the Park Hills, Ky. native has been a member of three other title teams during his career and has twice been named the athletic trainer for the ECHL All-Star Game (2004 and 2010). He currently works on assignment for Beacon Orthopaedics, the Official Medical Team of the Cyclones. Case received a bachelor's degree in Physical Education/Athletic Training from Eastern Kentucky University and a master's degree from Morehead State University.
