Cincinnati Marshals hold press conference

Cincinnati, OH â The Cincinnati Marshals are pleased to announce their inclusion in the National Indoor Football League for the 2005 season. The Marshals have scheduled a press conference for 11:00 am on Tuesday December 7th at U.S. Bank Arena. The arena is located at 100 Broadway in downtown Cincinnati and media can enter through the security entrance off Mehring Way.
The ownership group, The Cincinnati Indoor Football Club, LLC, will announce the team colors, uniforms, and introduce the first head coach in franchise history at Tuesday's press conference. The ownership group is led by Chief Executive Officer H.P. Patterson, who is part of the NIFL expansion Miami Morays ownership group led former NFL player Oronde Gadsden. Mr. Gadsden will also be on hand at the press conference to field questions as he is the acting Executive Vice President of the Marshals.
Patterson said, "The opportunity that Cincinnati presents is great for sports fans and for the NIFL. There is no doubt that the Marshals will be a success in this market. We look to the city as a marquee for the league. The market will enhance the entertainment and professional ranks of the National Indoor Football League. "
"We are very pleased the ownership group has chosen Cincinnati and U.S. Bank Arena to be the home of the Marshals," said U.S. Bank Arena Vice President/General Manager Matt Dunne. " We look forward to working with making the relationship with the team and its ownership group very successful. The NIFL is an established league that will put a proven product on the field every week. We are extremely confident that the people of Cincinnati will support this team."
The Cincinnati Marshals will play in the National Indoor Football League, entering its fifth season with 32 teams located across the United States. The NIFL provides players with an opportunity to develop their skills and continue their careers in professional football.
