Cincinnati Marshals add NIFL player to O&D line

Cincinnati, OH – The Cincinnati Marshals of the National Indoor Football League excitedly announce the signing of Ike Clepper to their offensive and defensive lines for the 2005 season.

Ike began his career at the University of Cincinnati before transferring to Georgetown College in 2000 where he posted a career 40-2 record. At Georgetown, he helped the Tigers advance to three National Championship Games and two National Titles. He was named an All Mid South Conference Selection twice and was an honorable mention All American for the Don Hansen Football Gazette in 2001. In 2002 he was named a NAIA.net first team All American and was the Most Valuable Offensive Lineman at Georgetown College in 2003.

After graduating from Georgetown College in 2003, Ike began his professional career with the Lexington Horsemen of the NIFL where he started fourteen games straight. In Lexington he led the Horsemen to an impressive 10-5 record in their first year of play and played a significant role in the helping the offense produce 3364 yards of total offense and an average of 240 yards per game. In his second season with the Lexington Franchise after starting in every game his team posted an impressive 14-4 record and also advanced to the National Championship game where he won his third National title of his football career.
