Cincinnati Kings pro indoor soccer look forward to the battle against undefeated San Diego The San Diego Sockers, the most successful indoor soccer franchise to play the game, will travel to the east coast to play the Cincinnati Kings on Saturday, Dec. 18, 7:35 p.m. at the Cincinnati Gardens. As the only undefeated team left in the PASL, the Sockers are atop the Western Division with a 5-0 record while the Kings remain in first place in the Eastern Division with a 5-1 record.
From the League
The Kings rout was on in the Eastern Division. The Cincinnati Kings were 5-0 and the rest of the division had a losing record. A win on Sunday would have opened up a four game cushion for the Kings. Instead, Cincinnati traveled to Detroit and was greeted by a packed house at the Taylor Sportsplex and left with a 6-4 defeat. The Waza was led by goalkeeper Vito Lonigro and two goals from Miki Djerisilo making his first appearance of the season. Detroit improved to 2-2 and cut Cincinnati's division lead to two games.
Cincinnati is now 30-8 all-time in the regular season, but half of those losses have come at Detroit.
Even though Cincinnati moved to a new home arena this season, they kept one tradition intact: winning. The Kings did not play at home this week so their all-time home mark remains 18-0.
