Cincinnati Jungle Kats Announce Local Tryouts

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Jungle Kats of af2 announced this afternoon, that tryouts for the team will take place on Saturday, Feb. 24. The tryout will take place at the Middletown SportsPlex (800 Second Street-Middletown, OH), from 3-5pm. The cost is $50 per player trying out.
The Jungle Kats will use this tryout as an opportunity to evaluate Cincinnati area athletes interested in playing in the Arena Football League. Players selected from this camp will be invited to the team's tryout camp in early March.
"I am looking forward to seeing the football talent in the Cincinnati community," Jungle Kats Head Coach Tony Missick said. "There is great football played in this area and we are hoping to capture some of that talent and bringing it into our Jungle."
Players interested in participating are urged to contact the Jungle Kats offices at 513-381-TURF for additional information.
Season ticket applications are now being accepted for the 2007 Cincinnati Jungle Kats season. Season tickets can be purchased for as little as $80. Call the Jungle Kats ticket department at 513-381-TURF for the details.
