Brandon Wheat Kings News Release
Brandon, MB. -- The Brandon Wheat Kings, in conjunction with Physiofirst are excited to announce the return of Chuck-a-Puck for the 2010-11 Western Hockey League season.
This promotion, held during the second intermission of ten home games this coming season, is a great visual and it has the ability to generate revenue and offer various charitable organizations with outstanding fundraising opportunities.
Fans attending these games will have the chance to purchase a (numbered) foam puck and toss it toward the center ice face-off circle during the second intermission for a chance to win some terrific prizes.
The foam pucks will be sold by local charities, with all of the proceeds to be donated back to that organization.
In order to participate, local charities will need to provide a registered charity number as well as a minium number of volunteers for both in-game sales and on ice clean-up, as well as a grand prize.
