San Francisco Bulls News Release

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today that forward Christian Ouellet will return for the 2013-14 season. Ouellet will begin the season at the Bulls' AHL affiliate's Training Camp in Worcester, Massachusetts.

"Christian is a player that does everything well," said Bulls President and Head Coach Pat Curcio. "He's got offensive skills and is responsible in the defensive zone. He's going to be a star. We wish him all the best at Worcester's Training Camp."

Ouellet, 22, split his rookie season in 2012-13 between the Bulls and Gwinnett Gladiators. With the Bulls, he registered 25 points (9 goals, 16 assists) in 35 regular-season games. He also recorded three assists in five playoff games against Alaska. He collected 37 points (17 goals, 20 assists) in 66 total games last season. The 6-foot, 195-pound, native of Alma, Quebec spent four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with the Gatineau Olympiques and Chicoutimi Sagueneens. In 235 QMJHL games, Ouellet recorded 162 points (61 goals, 101 assists).

"I'm happy to be returning," said Ouellet. "I want to have a good season, since I had a great time with the team and in the city last year. I'm excited to be back playing with Scotty (Langdon), Kris (Belan) and Dylan (King) if I don't make Worcester.
