The Can-Am League has selected Sussex Skyhawks infielder Chris Brown as Batter of the Week. Brown batted .429 this past week with two home runs and 13 RBI. He banged out nine hits, including two doubles, scored four times and had a slugging percentage of .810. In Sunday's 11-3 win over the American Defenders of New Hampshire, Brown went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, two runs scored and four RBI. The Miramar, FL resident is currently hitting .299 with five home runs, 37 RBI and 52 hits.
