The New Jersey Jackals plated two runs in the eighth inning to break a 5-5 tie and beat the Brockton Rox. The Jackals were led offensively by 2B Marcus Sanders who went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI. 3B Mike Scanzano, RF Billy Kovatch and CF Zach Smithlin also collected two hits for New Jersey. Jackals reliever Seth Overbey tossed a scoreless eighth inning to win his third game of the season. The league's Pitcher of the Week, Rusty Tucker, allowed a run on a hit in the ninth but held on for his league leading 18th save of the season.

Worcester 4, New Hampshire 3

Worcester rallied from a 2-0 deficit with four runs in the seventh inning and went on to edge the American Defenders of New Hampshire 4-3. Tornadoes DH Nick Salotti went 3-for-4 with a run scored while 3B Mike MacMillan had a two-hit night with a run scored and a run batted in. Worcester starting pitcher Chris Farley was terrific in notching his fourth win of the season. Farley threw eight innings allowing two earned runs on seven hits with two strikeouts. LF Greg Lemon and CF Edward Ovalle had two hits apiece for New Hampshire in defeat.

Quebec 7, Sussex 0

A terrific pitching performance by Quebec starter Chris Allen leads the Capitales to an easy win over the Sussex Skyhawks. Allen threw a three-hit complete game shutout allowing three walks while fanning five Sussex batters. Allen had a no-hitter broken up in the top of the seventh inning thanks to a leadoff double by RF Maikel Jova. With the win, Allen is now 4-6 on the year. Capitales SS Ivan Naccarata was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with three RBI and C Pierre-Luc LaForest launched his 15th home run of the season.
