
Chris Breen Sign AHL Tryout

Peterborough Petes News Release
Peterborough Petes defenceman Chris Breen has signed a 25 game tryout contract with the Calgary Flames American Hockey League affiliate Abbotsford Heat.
Breen, an overage blueliner with the Petes was acquired from the Erie Otters in October, 2009. While with the Petes the 6'7" 225lbs native of Uxbridge was a steadying force on the Petes young defense corp. playing a lot of minutes every game allowing him to be noticed by NHL scouts. In his final game with the Petes Chris played just over 33 minutes against the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors.
