CHL Suspends Missouri's Dave Pszenyczny
January 19, 2014 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
GLENDALE, AZ (January 19, 2014) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Missouri Mavericks defenseman Dave Pszenyczny has been suspended for three (3) games as a result of his actions in Saturday's game versus the Wichita Thunder. It is the third three-game suspension for Pszenyczny this season.
Pszenyczny's suspension is a result of a request for review of a hit in the first period that was whistled for a two-minute elbowing penalty during the game. After review, the hit was deemed an illegal check to the head of an opponent.
The defenseman will miss today's game at Wichita as well as Friday's game at Tulsa and Saturday's home game versus Tulsa.
