
CHL Announces Year-End Awards Release Schedule

GLENDALE, AZ (March 18, 2014) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today the dates that the year-end award winners, the All-CHL Team and the All-Rookie Team will be announced. The announcements will begin on Friday, March 21st and continue through Monday, March 31st with the announcement of the CHL's Most Valuable Player.
The finalists for this season's MVP award include Garett Bembridge (Denver), Ben Gordon (Tulsa), Jesse Schultz (Rapid City), Troy Schwab (Denver) and Sebastien Thinel (Missouri).
The dates for the announcements for all CHL Awards are listed below:
Friday, March 21 Gunner Garrett Equipment Manager of the Year Athletic Trainer of the Year
Monday, March 24 All-CHL Team CHL All-Rookie Team
Tuesday, March 25 CHL's Man of the Year
Wednesday, March 26 CHL's Rookie of the Year CHL's Most Outstanding Defenseman
Thursday, March 27 CHL's Coach of the Year
Friday, March 28 CHL's Most Outstanding Goaltender (Scott Brower Award)
Monday, March 31 Joe Burton Scoring Champion CHL's Most Valuable Player
The CHL Media Services Award will be announced following the post-season and the league's annual Best of the Best Poll results will be announced tomorrow (Wednesday, March 19) with full coverage available at MinorLeagueHockeyReport.com .
