CHL Announces Suspensions from Mallards/Beast Game
December 30, 2013 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
GLENDALE, AZ (December 30, 2013) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Quad City Mallards forward Jordan Lane and Brampton Beast forward Mike MacIsaac have each been suspended for two (2) games as a result of their actions in Saturday's game between the Mallards and Beast.
Lane has been suspended for a "sucker punch" on a Beast player during an incident at the 9:22 mark of the first period. Lane received 27 penalty minutes at that time including two Game Misconducts. The forward will miss Quad City's game tonight in Brampton and Friday versus St. Charles.
MacIsaac has been suspended after a request for review for an observed "slew-foot" of a Quad City player (there was no penalty called on the play). MacIsaac will miss tonight's game versus the Mallards and Friday's game at Missouri.
