ROJIBLANCOS HOST RAPIDS IN FINAL HOME GAME OF SEASON

Chivas USA returns home for Fan Appreciation Night after a week off to host Western Conference rival the Colorado Rapids in its final home game of the season, Saturday, Oct. 20 at The Home Depot Center. The match is the third and final meeting between the two sides in the season series and is set for a 7:30 pm PT kick off. The game will broadcast live on Fox Sports West in English and Channel 22.2 (Super 22) and Time Warner Cable Channel 798 in Spanish, and on delayed broadcast on KWHY Channel 22 (Mundo Fox) in Spanish at 11:00 pm PT.

The all-time series began in 2005 - Chivas USA's inaugural season - with Colorado winning three out of the four meetings that year. The Goats followed their expansion season by winning two and tying two against the Rapids in 2006. Chivas USA is looking to even the 2012 season series with a win, as Colorado took the first meeting on April 28. The sides played to a draw in the August rematch - the second meeting of the season at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

Bolaños Out for Saturday-s Match

Midfielder Miller Bolaños will serve a one game suspension during Saturday-s match because of yellow card accumulation. The 22-year-old has been a key playmaker on the flanks for the Red-and-White, with three goals and four assists in his first season in MLS.

Jazic and Minda Looking to Sweep Qualifying Matches

Chivas USA's Ante Jazic and Oswaldo Minda, called into Canada and Ecuador national teams, respectively, for international duty for FIFA World Cup qualifying matches, are looking to sweep the two-game round of qualifiers. Jazic and Team Canada routed Cuba in Toronto, 3-0, while Ecuador also defended home with its 3-1 win against Chile, both on Friday. Both teams will be in action today, with Canada traveling to face Honduras in San Pedro Sula and La Tri traveling to face Venezuela in Puerto La Cruz. Canada currently has ten points in CONCACAF's Group C at 3-1-1. Ecuador is near the top of CONMEBOL standings with 16 points and a 5-2-1 record.

Moreno, a Game Away from Passing Vanney

With his appearance in Chivas USA's last match against FC Dallas, Alejandro Moreno has now played in 270 matches (216 starts) in his MLS career and is one appearance away from passing Assistant Coach Greg Vanney in all-time appearances. The Venezuela native moved past his head coach on June 20 for games played, as Robin Fraser finished his distinguished MLS career with 260 life-time appearances.

Iron Goats

All-Star goalkeeper Dan Kennedy is the only Goat that has played in every minute (2880) of Chivas USA's 32 games this season. Right back James Riley has also recorded an impressive 2790 minutes in 31 games, sitting one match out to serve a red card suspension.
