Chivas Usa To Play Chivachivas Usa Will Play Sister Club Chivas Guadalajara In Ciudad Juarezs Guadal

CARSON, Calif. - Chivas USA announced today that it will play sister club Chivas Guadalajara in a friendly at Estadio Olimpico in Ciudad Juarez (Mexico) on Wednesday, March 20, beginning at 6 p.m. (PT). The match will be played in benefit of EDUCARE, an education institute in Ciudad Juarez.

EDUCARE Ciudad Juarez builds hope for one of that city's most marginalized and violence-stricken communities. For that, Chivas will participate in different activities with the goal of benefiting the institution. A significant percentage of the match-s proceeds will be put toward the second stage of EDUCARE Ciudad Juarez's construction. After the first stage, the impact the institution has generated has been felt within its students and their families, by offering education as a better alternative for a violence-free future.

As part of its bye week in Liga MX competition due to FIFA competition, Chivas Guadalajara will also face Mexico's Under-20 national team, which was recently crowned 2013 CONCACAF champion and will represent Mexico in this year's U-20 World Cup in Turkey. The match will also be played in benefit of EDUCARE Ciudad Juarez, and is programmed for March 23 at the same kickoff time and venue.

Chivas USA continues its two-game home stand when it hosts Western Conference rival FC Dallas on Sunday, March 10, The match kicks off at 2 p.m. (PT) and will be broadcasted in Spanish on UniMás and can be heard on W Radio 690 AM by clicking here.
