Chivas USA to Join Hundreds of L.A. Youth at Middle School Soccer Tournament This Sunday

CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, June 9, 2010) - Chivas USA forward Justin Braun will join hundreds of middle school students in the Los Angeles area at a unique soccer tournament hosted by After-School All-Stars Los Angeles on Sunday, June 13. After-School All Stars Los Angeles will host the "Goal to Goal" Soccer Cup for the first time and Chivas USA will be on hand to support participating boys and girls competing for the coveted 'All-Star' title.

In addition to signing autographs and interacting with families, Braun will interact with tournament participants between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and will participate in the final awards ceremony.

Founded by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, After-School All-Stars is the leading after school program provider in Los Angeles, aiming to educate and inspire youth through activities centered around health, fitness and nutrition; the visual and performing arts; and youth leadership and community service learning.
