Chivas USA Team Foundation Ready to Host 2nd Annual Bowling Extravaganza

CARSON, Calif. (Friday, June 8, 2012) -Chivas USA's non-profit Foundation, FundaciÃ"n Chivas de Corazon USA will host its 2nd Annual Bowling Extravaganza this Sunday, June 10 at Lucky Strike Lanes in Torrance, California. Event net proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles chapter.

The event will also have a special connection to 5-year old Eduardo Godinez. Diagnosed with leukemia at age two, Eduardo's wish had been to meet international soccer forward, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez. As a result of the efforts of Chivas USA Foundation representatives, Eduardo's wish became a reality just last week, when the two met at a Mexican national team practice session in Chicago.

This is the first time that Chivas USA teams up with Make-A-Wish, a nonprofit whose mission is to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
