Chivas USA at Carolina Railhawks broadcast on the Internet

North Carolina FC News Release


The Carolina RailHawks will play against Chivas USA of the MLS on Tuesday May 8, at 7:30 PM at SAS Soccer Park in Cary. While tickets are still available at the box office, RailHawks and Chivas USA fans will have the opportunity to watch this epic battle of the leagues live on the internet on USLLive.com, or listen to the game on the Carolina RailHawks broadcast partner, WSHA 88.9 FM.

Fans who already subscribe to the pay-per-view internet service will notice that the game has been added to the scheduled lineup and will be able to click on it as soon as the game starts. Fans who do not subscribe to USLLive.com may go to the website and sign up for the individual game at a price of $3.99. A broadband internet connection is required to view this match. Soccer aficionados who do not have a broadband internet connection but would like to follow the match will be able to listen to the game on the radio here in the Triangle by tuning in to our broadcast partner WSHA 88.9 FM, or by visiting the radio station's website and clicking on "Listen to WSHA".

As with all Carolina RailHawks matches, the broadcast will feature the RailHawks Dynamic Duo of broadcasters: Dean Linke on play-by-play and John Bouillé on color commentary.

The Carolina RailHawks are a United Soccer Leagues expansion team that entered the USL First Division in April 2007. The squad will play 14 regular season home games and four additional home playoff and exhibition games each year, with all home games played at SAS Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. Under Rochester Rhinos co-owner and USL Hall of Fame inductee Chris Economides, the RailHawks organization was formed in October 2005 and awarded the USL franchise in January 2006.
