
Chinooks Win Tight One Over Visiting Explosion

Portland, OR - The game went down to the final possession, but the Portland Chinooks were able to hold on and secure the victory over the visiting Snohomish County Explosion on Sunday.
Larry Smith was the game's top scorer, finishing with 27 points for the Chinooks. Kenny Tate added a triple-double in the win (14 points; 14 rebounds and 10 assists).
The game marked the return of 2007 IBL All-Stars Justin Murray and Rashaad Powell into the Explosion line-up following commitments overseas. Murray's first IBL action of the season was impressive-Murray led the Explosion in points (22) and rebounds (14).
