Chihuahuas Seek Promotions Crew

February 3, 2016 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
El Paso Chihuahuas News Release

EL PASO - The El Paso Chihuahuas are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, and fun individuals to be members of their promotions team - the Bark Brigade! The Bark Brigade interacts with fans, finds contestants, handles props, participates in promotions, and adds to the fun ballpark atmosphere during every Chihuahuas game.

The audition is Saturday, February 6 at Southwest University Park. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with the group audition starting promptly at 10:00 a.m. Applicants can pre-register online at epchihuahuas.com under the Southwest University Park tab. The audition will consist of a variety of group activities as well as the opportunity for you to shine as an individual. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring water/light snacks.

The Chihuahuas play 72 home games from April to September at Southwest University Park. Applicants should be available for a majority of the season including weekday afternoon games, night games, weekend games, and games on holidays. The 2016 season begins April 15 and ends September 5 with possible playoff games continuing into mid-September. The Chihuahuas are also hosting an exhibition game against the San Diego Padres on March 31. Other street team and community service appearances may be added to the schedule.

Bark Brigade members must be energetic, outgoing, and interested in putting on a show. Members of the Bark Brigade must be comfortable dancing on the field in front of a full ballpark.

Bark Brigade members will be asked to handle large and sometimes bulky props. Some promotions may require running; crew members should be willing and able to perform light physical activity.

Guest service experience is a plus.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in professional sports and promotions. The Bark Brigade is what makes a night at the ballpark a night full of entertainment, beyond the baseball game. This is a chance to be part of the show.
