El Paso - The Moment is here! The El Paso Chihuahuas open the 2019 All-Star Season against the Las Vegas Aviators (Oakland A's affiliate) on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 7:05 p.m., kicking off a five-game homestand!

The first 3,000 guests in attendance with paid admission will receive a 2019 rally towel. Opening Day will also include the first Thrifty Thursday of the season presented by Speaking Rock Entertainment Center. The offerings consist of $2 hot dogs, $2 12oz beer, $2 12oz margaritas and $2 24oz sodas for 2.5 hours after gates open.

Along with Thrifty Thursday, L&F Distributors (the Budweiser distributor in El Paso) and the El Paso Chihuahuas are once again partnering to deliver Day Fresh Budweiser to Southwest University Park for Opening Day!

To kickoff the All-Star Season, the El Paso Chihuahuas Foundation 50/50 Raffle jackpot will begin at $5,000. Guests will have the opportunity purchase 50/50 raffle tickets when ballpark gates open until the end of the seventh inning. The randomly selected winner will receive half of the jackpot total from the game's raffle ticket sales and the other half will benefit the El Paso Chihuahuas Foundation which supports numerous charities and non-profits in the local community.

Rounding out the night's festivities is a salute to our military, veterans and first responders with Thank You Thursday presented by Prudential.

The homestand also includes a special guest appearance by Dwier Brown from the movie "Field of Dreams" on Friday, April 5 with postgame catch on the field, a Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday and Curious George appearance on Sunday! The series concludes on Monday with a Mini Bat giveaway presented by Southwest University, featuring a full-color picture of Southwest University Park, that will be handed out to guests (April 8) upon entry.

Tickets are still available for Opening Day and great seats remain for the homestand! Tickets are available starting at $5. Purchasers who buy in advance will enjoy savings ranging from $2.00 - $3.00 per ticket on reserved seating versus purchasing on the day of the game.

Tickets can be purchased at the Southwest University Park box offices, online at epchihuahuas.com or by calling (915) 533-BASE. The Durango & Santa Fe Box Offices will be open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and 30 minutes postgame on gamedays.

- 2019 Opening Day: America's pastime is back in 2019! Join the Chihuahuas as they kick off their 2019 All-Star season under new manager Edwin Rodriguez!

- El Paso Chihuahuas Foundation 50/50 Raffle: In celebration of the All-Star Season, the pot will start at $5,000! In celebration of the All-Star Season, the pot will start at $5,000! - Day Fresh Budweiser: Bottled, brewed and driven from Houston to El Paso in less than 24 hours, fans can enjoy day fresh Budweiser at the following locations while supplies last: Portables at Sections 113, 120 and 211 and will be sold at Monchi's Concession Stand. *Draft Day Fresh Beer will be available for the Thrifty Thursday Special while supplies last.

- Thrifty Thursday presented by Speaking Rock Entertainment Center: $2 hot dogs; $2 12oz Budweiser or Bud Light; $2 12oz Margaritas; $2 24oz Pepsi soft drinks; Thrifty Thursday ends 2.5 hours after gates open.

- Thank You Thursday presented by Presented by Prudential: A salute to our military, veterans and first responders.

- Fetch the Fun Friday: Family fun entertainment for the family!

- Dwier Brown Appearance: Dwier Brown, who played John Kinsella in the critically acclaimed iconic baseball movie "Field of Dreams," is coming to El Paso! Guests will get the opportunity to take photos and get an autograph with Brown on the concourse. The night will conclude with the opportunity to play catch on the field with Brown postgame!

- El Paso Chihuahuas Foundation 50/50 Raffle: In celebration of the "Field of Dreams" 30th anniversary of the movie release, patrons can purchase 89 tickets for $20!

- Whataburger's Bring Home the "W": Whataburger will distribute 5,000 Whataburger coupons upon exit. Limit one (1) per person while supplies last.

- Fireworks Spectacular: It's the best fireworks show in the Southwest choreographed to 70's music!

- 70's Night: Do a little dance, Make a little love, Get down on Saturday! Grab your friends and family and join us at the game for our Fireworks Spectacular! Come in your grooviest attire for 70's Night!

- El Paso Chihuahuas Foundation 50/50 Raffle: In celebration of the 70s theme night, patrons can purchase 70 tickets for $20!

CHIHUAHUAS vs. AVIATORS | SUNDAY, APRIL 7 | GATES: 12 p.m.

- Curious George Appearance: PBS's Curious George, the playful monkey, is coming to Southwest University Park! He'll be meeting and greeting kids on the concourse throughout the game!

- Kids Day Sunday: Kids day is centered on area youth! Sunday's includes a turn around the bases postgame and more!

- Kids Run the Bases Postgame: Kids 12 and under get to take a turn around the bases postgame presented by The Hospitals of Providence.

- Chico Kids Club presented by Southwest Dairy Farmers:

o Kids Eat Free for members of Chico's Kids Club every Sunday presented by Southwest Dairy Farmers.

o Pictures with Chico pregame from 12-12:30 p.m. on the Santa Fe Plaza!

- Bimbo Bakeries Sara Lee Butter Bread: The first 1,500 guests in attendance with paid admission will receive a loaf of Sara Lee Butter Bread upon exit. Limit one (1) per person.

- Mini Bat Giveaway presented by Southwest University: The first 1,500 guests in attendance with paid admission will receive a commemorative mini bat. Limit is one (1) per person while supplies last.

- Military Monday presented by Prudential: Active duty military personnel and veterans with valid military ID may receive jumbo hot dog meal (Jumbo Hot Dog, 24oz Pepsi Soft Drink, French Fries) redeemable at Monchi's or Rio Grrrande Grill.

- Military, Veterans, First Responders & Government Officials Save!: Active duty military, veterans, first responders and government employees can enjoy a 25% savings on all Monday through Thursday games (excluding April 4 and July 3). The 25% off ticketed rate are located in Zones E, L, D, and K via GovX.com or in person with valid ID at either of the Southwest University Park box office locations.
