Peoria Chiefs News Release
The Peoria Chiefs are pleased to be partnering with Wildlife Prairie State Park for both of our 2008 seasons. This year Wildlife Prairie State Park is celebrating its 30th Anniversary. Their 2008 season will be filled with new additions to the park, new events at the park and a very special fundraising event.
The 30th Anniversary Celebration will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Peoria Civic Center. This is the first time the park has ever held a fundraising event so they are pulling out all of the stops! The keynote speaker is Animal Planet's Jeff Corwin, there will be a live & silent auction filled with unique items and they will present the newly established Rutherford Family Conservation Award. The attire is forest friendly so everyone can have a comfortable fun-filled evening. Tickets are $150 each or $1,200 per table (dinner is included). Doors open at 5:30 p.m. $120 of every ticket sold is tax deductible.
